Some people like doing things by hand. Others prefer using machines. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Nowadays life's got really fast. The lifestyle of the XXI century has brought a lot of rush in our lives. That’s why I think that using machines is the best way to do things. It's faster, it's easier and requires less resources.

The time a machine can do any job is the main reason why I think so. We can do several things in a period that would be necessary for just one if we did it by hand. It seriously reduces the time we need to do all our housework, for example. It enables us to enjoy more things in life we wouldn't have time for if there were no machines.

In addition, it's much easier to use machines. Sometimes all you have to do is to push a button. Anyone with different abilities can use these machines. That, on its account, gives chances to disabled people to find jobs, do things on their own and feel better about themselves.

Lastly, using machines requires less energy than doing things by hand. And it's as true for human energy as for other resources we use. For example, household machines give us opportunity to do things without being exhausted. They also require less water, electricity or gas than doing things by hand. In fact, the machines are designed as not to waste any of these precious resources.

Some people think that machines cause people lose jobs since they can do better in factories. But in my opinion, it only makes things easier for the workers.

In conclusion, the ability that the modern technology gives us to do things better, faster and easier is the reason why I think machines are the best way to do things.
